Basic recipe for corn on the cob. Really nice flavor.
Clean corn, put corn in a pot, with cold water 1 inch above corn. Put 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 tea spoon lemon juice per quart of water.
Put lid on pot. Bring to boil, continue to boil, cook 7-8 minutes. Check with fork, when its easy to put fork in corn its ready. Enjoy

ReplyDeleteSounds Great! We add a little lemon pepper, butter, and if you like a little spice, we add Chuchula sauce on each cob. This is a family favorite. I will try your recipe this weekend. James
