Deviled Eggs

Question of the week? How to make deviled eggs. Here is my recipe that I use. after boiling your eggs cut them in half. mash the yellow part and add mayo & mustard, salt & pepper. (Sometimes I add a little dill and celery cut up very fine). Then put back in the white part and add a little paprika on top. Please send in yours..

  1. I make them like you do (except for dill and celery) but I do add a dash of garlic powder.
Makes me hungry for deviled eggs.

  2. I make them same way omitting dill and celery - I think we all learned this recipe from Mom.... She made them same way. Sometimes for a change I finely chop onions and add to egg yolks... Also makes me hungry for eggs - had a deviled egg sandwich yesterday but it wasn't like the ones we make... Heard that S & S Produce, in Chico, makes a very delicous egg salad sandwich - will have to try.

  3. Ah! Ha! Something we all share in common. Who would have thought deviled eggs could bring us all together like this. "Deviled eggs, the food that bridges all generations, bringing people together and making memories". James

  7. Powdered ranch dressing - sounds yummy - will give it a try in eggs and potato salad. My salad doesn't taste as good as it use to - maybe it needs this added ingredient.

  8. Tammy I am going to try that the next time i make potato salad. and in my deviled eggs. I was suprised when I asked my mom how she used to make potato salad and she said that she only added potato, eggs, onions and sometimes she put a little celery in it. I asked her about black olives and she said that it would be alright to add them but she didn't use to. also mayo and a little mustard. I made it her way and it was good but I added the black olives..

  9. Are you sure mom didn't add sweet pickels also???
When I use mayo in potato salad I add a little pickel juice or use Miracle Whip so dressing is sweeter...
