A Very Special Warrior

Logan, on the right, has graduated from "boot camp" for the Army.  (Nathan, Logan's older brother, is on the left in the picture).  He graduated on February 8th, 2009 from Ft. Jackson in So. Carolina.   Logan also was awarded  two gold coins.  One for being a squad leader and the other for beating out a group of 2000 (yes, this is correct--2000) fellow warriors in hand to hand combat.  Logan says, "boot camp was a piece of cake compared to wrestling for Weber High School.  Here we get to eat all you want and I don't have to worry about my weight."   Logan, as squad leader, picked the biggest guy on the squad.  Both he and this guy climbed up on top of the obstacle course wall.  Their squad won first place because Logan and this guy would literally pull and throw over the wall, each of their team members.   Logan is now in a hold pattern at the base.  He will start his formal "mechanic" training starting next week.  He will be home in May 09.  Logan we love you and we are so very proud of you.  Please keep this special warrior in your prayers.
